“warehouse Assistant Jailed 6 Weeks for Molesting Colleague at a Carpark”

Mr. Mark Lee acted for a client faced with a charge of outrage of modesty (Section 354A(1) of the Penal Code (Cap. 224)) for molesting his colleague by forcing the victim to sit facing him on his lap, before grabbing her hair and kissing her on the lips.

For such a charge, one could have been jailed up to two (2) years, fined or caned, or with any combination of such punishments. With Mr. Mark Lee’s representation, the Court sentenced the client to an imprisonment term of six (6) weeks.
