Brandon heads the Corporate Law practice of our firm and advises on a wide range of general and specialist corporate matters. Prior to joining us, Brandon practised law at one of the Big Four law firms in Singapore with a Tier 1 ranking for capital markets, where he specialised in equity capital markets transactions such as initial public offerings (IPOs), rights issues, placements and reverse takeovers (RTOs) and worked with some of the largest and most established corporations in Singapore and elsewhere. In his previous firm, some of the completed transactions that Brandon was involved in include:

  • IPO of APAC Realty Limited, the second largest property agency group in Singapore

  • IPO of RE&S Holdings Limited, the largest Japanese food group in Singapore

  • IPO of Dasin Retail Trust, the first pure-play China retail business trust listed in Singapore, raising over S$121 million

  • Placement and preferential offering by Keppel Infrastructure Trust, the largest infrastructure-focused Singapore business trust, raising S$525 million

  • IPO of Frasers Logistics and Industrial Trust, the largest pure-play Australian logistics and industrial real estate investment trust (REIT) in Singapore, raising over S$900 million

  • IPO of iX Biopharma, a primarily late-stage specialty pharmaceutical company

  • IPO of Secura Group Limited, a integrated security solutions group majority-owned by Mr. Peter Lim, Mr. Wee Ee Chao, the Hong Leong Group and other prominent investors

  • IPO of Huationg Global Limited, one of the largest civil engineering services providers in Singapore

  • Due diligence on behalf of the underwriters of the approximately S$490 million RTO of W Corporation Limited by YuuZoo Corporation Limited

Coming from a business family background, Brandon is known to be commercially savvy and astute. He believes that by combining legal know-how and business acumen, he is able to add value to start-ups and other less established companies by not only delivering cost-effective and practical legal solutions, but also highlighting extralegal perspectives and considerations.

Outside of corporate law, Brandon has also been a volunteer with the Pro Bono Legal Clinic of Singapore since 2016 and was recognised for his contributions at the Law Awareness Weeks@CDC in 2017 and 2018. He is also a member of the Singapore-China Business Association Youth Wing and the Business Families Institute@SMU.

Brandon is well-liked by many Chinese clients for his excellent command of the mandarin language. He is also fluent in Cantonese and understands basic Hokkien.

Brandon is called to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and had passed the New York Bar exams.
