Finalist for Alb South East Asia Law Awards

We are pleased to be selected as finalists for the following categories in the Asian Legal Business South East Asia Law Awards 2019:-
Firm Categories
- Dispute Resolution Boutique Law Firm of the Year;
- Matrimonial and Family Law Firm of the Year;
- Medical and Healthcare Law Firm of the Year; and
- Corporate Citizenship Law Firm of the Year
Individual Category
- Young Lawyer of the Year - Mark Lee Kok Weng, WMH Law Corporation
For the firm categories, we are glad to be selected as a finalist for the Matrimonial and Family Law Firm of the Year in South East Asia, along other big names in the industry. Our matrimonial department is headed by our director, Ms. Hazell Ng.
We are also chosen as one of the three finalists for the Medical and Healthcare Law Firm of the Year, alongside international law firm. This is a very niche area of practice and we had the privilege of being engaged as counsel for a number of medical disputes in the past year, against large hospital and clinic.
Same as the previous year, we were also nominated as finalists for the Dispute Resolution Boutique Law Firm of the Year and the Corporate Citizenship Law Firm of the Year Awards. The finalists this year comprise of prominent local and international law firms and we are heartened to be the smallest firm in the list. It is a testament to our belief that you do not need to be a large firm to contribute to the society and to do good work for our clients. We strive to punch above our weight.
For the individual category, we are proud to announce that Mr. Mark Lee had been selected as a finalist for the Young Lawyer of the Year Award. Mr. Lee is our joint managing director and is also our head of Commercial and Corporate Dispute Resolution Practice.
When we first established the firm in year 2016/2017, we were selected as the finalist for one category (ie. Young Lawyer of the Year). In year 2018, we were selected for three firm categories. This year, we were selected for a total of five categories, putting us on par with a number of prominent local and international law firms. We are heartened by the selection and aspire to achieve greater heights next year.
