Gerald holds Honours Degree in Law and Economics (UK). He is called to the bar in both England and Wales as well as Singapore.
Gerald brings to the firm a wealth of legal experience, having been in private practice for over 20 years. He was formerly from a big four law firm primarily involved in IPOs. In particular, Gerald was involved in the listing of a major multinational manufacturer and supplier of food produce and other local manufacturing companies following M&A exercise.
He was also appointed as a General Counsel of a group of companies mainly focused on business strategies, corporate advisory, fund raising, and private equity. His projects include restructuring and relocation of management of shipyard, investment for Private Equity and recommendations for protection of security.
Gerald’s diversified experience also extends to insurance, shipping, and conveyancing laws. One of his probate matters involving a large estate was featured in local media.
In one of his previous firms, Gerald was involved in project management undertaking B to G infrastructural projects in North Asia, from concession negotiations to implementation which involved cross border contracts.
